Bathroom & Kitchen Walls Demolition

Rise Renovations is your bathroom and kitchen demolition specialist. We are not just experts in floors, walls and shower installations but in strip outs. Demolishing your own bathroom or kitchen is risky and could present a potential danger. So, it’s important to hand tasks like these to professionals. Therefore, ensuring no damage is done in the process. If you believe you are saving money by doing demolition on your own, you´re wrong. Actually, it can lead to unnecessary delays that end up costing you more. That´s why our team  will perform bathroom or kitchen demolition in the exact places you need, leaving the major structural pieces in place. Then when the work is finished, we clean the area to remove dust and debris, leaving a clear space for your renovations.

From standard installations to elaborate custom inlays, edges, and mosaics, we know how to work with natural stone.

Kitchen Strip Outs</span

We provide a complete kitchen strip which allows you to focus on the new renovation without having to labor over the logistics of removing the old kitchen. We can provide a complete removal of the old kitchen.

PRE-DEMOLITION STEPS</span

Keep in mind that parts of your home will be a construction zone during the kitchen demolition and installation phase. Make alternate arrangements for storage, food preparation and cleanup ahead of time to alleviate stress later.

Turn the mains off to your house and think about taping your mains box up so that no one can turn the power back on accidentally.

To save yourself a flooded house and a lot of trouble, turn the water off to your house.

If you have gas appliances then make sure you turn them off at the valve (usually behind the appliance). Alternatively, gas may be turned off at your gas meter (be sure to re-light your gas hot water service after you’re done). Speak to a professional about disconnecting your gas.

How we do our work

Before work begins, the bathroom demolition team will have to shut off water and power. Plumbing can be shut off specifically in the bathroom. However, turning off lighting typically will darken nearby areas, such as hallways and an additional room.

The good news

The good news is that homeowners stay in their residences during bathroom demolition.  So everything is okay as long as you don’t mind construction noise and a bit dust.

However, you won’t be able to use the bathroom once work begins. If dust is a concern, you can have the demolition team hang visqueen plastic around the bathroom doorway and in hallways to help contain it.

Relocating stuff

You’ll also want to relocate all essentials stuffs to another bathroom in the house, since this space will be unusable until the remodel is complete. And of course you’ll want to remove any pictures, knick-knacks and decorations before the demolition process begins
